Amr Thameen

3D Artist & Designer at irisVR

Recent graduate and longtime creative enthusiast, Amr Thameen holds the position of artist and designer for Vermont-based irisVR. Starting off building the wire-frame design for the startup's website, Amr now finds himself involved with creating architectural demos on behalf of clients and converting 3D building models into a virtual reality experience. Relying on the Oculus Rift, he believes that virtual reality will "revolutionize" the way designers execute their craft. 

Born in Baghdad, Iraq, Amr holds a BA degree in architectural studies from Middlebury College. He is an active volunteer with AFESIP Cambodia, a non-profit that is fighting to stop to human trafficking. In addition to English, Amr speaks Arabic and Portuguese.
