Peyton Manning... Shaquille O'Neal... Sheryl Crow...

... James Benham?

Yes, the stars are out in force this week in Orlando for the Mechanical Contractors Association of America's annual convention and trade show. Among the luminaries on hand, aside from the celebrity athletes and entertainers, are three recognized industry tech taste makers, all now affiliated with Bryan TX-based JBKnowledge: Benham, the firm's CEO; plus Atlanta-based consultants Rob McKinney and Josh Bone. Each has the somewhat rare distinction of being better known by an industry nickname: i.e. JBKnowledge (James); ConAppGuru (Rob); and BIM2TheBone (Josh).

In late January, the future radio hall-of-famers (AEC wing) burst onto the podcast scene, launching a weekly audio show ConTech Trio   focused on the latest construction technology trends and updates, and featuring interviews with prominent AEC tech players. Broadcasting this week from the MCAA Convention, the show's guests include BuiltWorlds co-founder Matt Abeles.

Just last week, Abeles learned that the ConTech Trio would also be doing a "live" podcast next month from the Chicago Athletic Association, site of our industry's first CEO Tech Forum.

"We're thrilled to have the ConTech Trio report from our CEO Tech Forum," says Abeles. "Our headline event will be a first for our industry, so we are very excited now to be in the position of making such big news, not just reporting it."

For its part, the Trio just released a roundup of its first 11 podcasts, which can be found on iTunes, Spreaker, YouTube and Soundcloud platforms. They can be accessed hereFor a taste, below is the latest episode, featuring an interview with BuiltWorlds' cofounder Matt Abeles.
