At the dawn of the mobile age, general contractors, subs, superintendents and weekend warriors of every stripe all were hyped just to show off their new Smartphone for its digital bubble level apps. Since Steve Jobs walked onstage at Apple's 2008 WWDC and introduced an App Store into our lives, "the game done changed".

Calgary-based Window and Door Guys recently compiled this list of its favorite construction apple and packaged it the handy infographic below. Some of our own fave go-to apps are there, like BW friends PlanGrid and BIMx. Of note, though, only 60% of those listed are compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems. Read on...
