Book It! Deadline nears for first BW community resource guide

by KARL SORENSEN, Research lead

BuiltWorlds has quickly become a trusted industry information source and collaborative conduit for companies that serve the built environment (architecture, engineering, construction, transportation, real estate, resource management, smart planning, manufacturing, etc.). With such a broad but vital mission, we are always looking for new ways to connect our constituents and enhance their ability to make positive changes, and profit, across the many worlds that we touch. So, we are excited this spring to roll out The BuiltWorlds Book, a community resource guide for those who have already joined our growing movement, as well as for like-minded individuals and firms who have expressed interest in doing so.

This first edition will have an audience of 10,000+ readers via physical distribution and ebook download, ranging coast-to-coast and reaching roughly a dozen other nations. Digital copies of these resource books will be available online, of course, but hard copies will also be distributed at BW events, which will include Chicago's first AEC Hackathon this March, as well as future programs with the Chicago Building Congress, the Chicago Architectural Foundation, the Construction Owners Association of America, Mechanical Contractors Association of America, and several others that are soon to be scheduled. If you have attended any of our events in just the past few months, then you have experienced firsthand the kind of disruptive energy and genuine excitement that is propelling us forward to serve our many built worlds.

If you are interested in tapping into this creative space and being a part of our first resource guide, then we have a deal for you. For $1,500, we can offer you one full year of targeted distribution, online and at our events, which will include your company name, description, photos, and web address. All strikingly presented and available to all in our growing sphere of influence, from owners large and small, to institutions public and private, local, national and even global.
