Doors Open For A Weekend Of Chicago Architecture

Two days, 200 locations, and we were honored to be one of them. Inside our century-old, former gear factory here at 1130 West Monroe, BuiltWorlds recently took part in the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s 5th annual Open House Chicago festival.

Open to the public and assisted by CAF volunteers, the popular event drew a steady stream of more than 150 visitors just to our space over the Oct. 17-18 weekend. The free celebration allowed architecture lovers of all ages to go behind the scenes and grab a sneak peek at the place where our magic happens. The BuiltWorlds headquarters may not be a manufacturing plant anymore, but our gears are spinning faster than ever here, producing even more of what you want.
