CBRE's Novak to preview trends at city's newest data center

As we all sit fully immersed in the 'Age of Data', information storage solutions weigh heavily on the minds of virtually every business, large or small. With that in mind, Continuum Data Centers and Schneider Electric have asked CBRE Data Center Solutions expert Shawn Novak to make sense of the current marketplace and offer advice on the best way forward.

Novak will be the featured speaker on Thursday, Nov. 6, at an 'Open House' for Continuum's newest '603' facility, which opened just last month in West Chicago. The 80,000-sf, purpose-built, high-density, Tier III+ data center is situated on some 20 acres that neighbor both the CME Aurora data center and Fermilab.

"We are truly excited to welcome Shawn to our new data center to engage in a conversation about the changing landscape in IT infrastructure," says Eli Scher, chairman and CEO of Chicago-based New Continuum Holdings Corp., West Chicago. "We are confident that our guests will enjoy food, drinks, and a tour of our facility, but more importantly, they will gain from the information Shawn will share, garnered from his many years of unique industry experience."
