Sasha Hoffman, COO, Piaggio Fast Forward
Sasha Hoffman (AKA Boss of getting things done) is the Chief Operating Officer of Piaggio Fast Forward where she is responsible for overseeing everything except for engineering. She is also the Co-Founder of Fuzzy Compass, a travel startup turning the world's top travel bloggers and influencers into modern-day travel consultants.
Prior to this, she was Head of Business Development for Plastiq, a venture-backed payments startup. As one of the first hires, she was responsible for many aspects of the business but primarily growing the company from 2-27 employees, setting the strategy for entering new industries and geographies, building and maintaining all partner relationships and growing the company to over $150mm in payments volume in under 2 years. Prior to that, she worked as an investment banker in the technology group at Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers. She worked on transactions worth more than $100 billion including several high-profile IPOs and M&A deals for such clients as Facebook, Yelp, and SanDisk. Before her career in finance she worked at Gucci Group (now PPR Luxury Group) and designed luxury business bags for women. Outside of finance and fashion, she has a love for food and has spent time consulting and investing in new restaurant concepts.
Having traveled to over 90 countries she was the 2016 Global Ambassador for Women in Travel and part of Phocuswright’s 2015 Class of 35 rising stars in the travel industry under 35. She is passionate about tech and social entrepreneurship and is an active member of the Boston entrepreneurship community. She created the Entrepreneur Games, sits on the board of BUILD Boston, is an instructor at General Assembly, Youth CITIES, and the Startup Institute, and was part of the Future Leaders Group of MITX. She frequently lectures at Northeastern University and gives speeches around the world. In the free time she wishes she had more of, you can find her touring with her dance company, attempting to cook, sailing, planning future travel or exploring the great outdoors.

Scott Peters, Co-Founder, Construction Robotics
Scott Peters is the President and Co-Founder of Construction Robotics (www.robotics.build). He has held various roles in engineering and management across a range of industries over the past 14 years. Prior to Construction Robotics (CR), Scott spent years doing process engineering, advanced manufacturing R&D and developing robotic automation concepts for Fortune 500 customers. At CR he has led the team from concept to completion of the world’s first commercially available robotic bricklaying system. CR’s first product, SAM100, short for Semi-Automated Mason, was first demonstrated in late 2014 and has spent the past year demonstrating and perfecting the technology on job sites. In early 2016 CR sold their first SAM units and is now focused on expanding their presence in the market. Scott is an inventor and entrepreneur and has invented numerous technologies in various fields. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester.

Mike Silver holds a Masters of Building Design from Columbia University, and is both a LeFevre’ 29 research fellow for The Knowlton School of Architecture in Columbus Ohio and a Sanders Fellow at the University of Michigan. He was the Director of Digital Media at the Yale School of Architecture from 2001-2004, a design instructor at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and a co-founder of the center for Sustainable Manufacturing and Advanced Robotic Technologies (SMART) at the University of Buffalo. He is also the author of numerous books on the relationship between technology and building including "Pamphlet Architecture #19”, AD’s, “Programming Cultures and “Mapping in the Age of Digital Media”. Mr. Silver currently directs Critical Systems Lab (CSL) a multidisciplinary design studio based in Buffalo, NY. In collaboration with computer scientists, mathematicians and process engineers his office has worked at a variety of scales and has extensive experience in the production of furniture, consumer products and buildings. Today, Mr. Silver continues innovative research in the field of sustainable design, digital cartography, software development, green manufacturing and high throughput computing. His current work explores technologies like augmented reality, mobile computing (AutomasonMP3), numerically controlled fiber-placement technology and leg-based robotics. As an experimental collaborative Mr. Silver’s firm is deeply committed to the precise alignment of advanced technology, ecological practice, architectural poetics and building construction. His work has been exhibited at the New Museum of Contemporary Art, in Manhattan, the IDC in Nagoya Japan, the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., the Architecture League in New York and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. He built his first working robot out of Scotch tape and Spirograph parts at the age of 12.

With over 25 years in the construction industry, Roger has extensive experience on both the construction and development sides of the real estate business. Prior to starting FC Modular within Forest City Ratner Companies, Roger spent 12 years at Forest City Ratner Companies as SVP of Mixed Use and Residential Development, entitling and planning over 1,000 residential apartment units integrated into many of FCRC’s Retail projects.
In 2008 Roger spearheaded the first R&D project for Modular Construction which lead to The Creation of FC Modular and subsequently the creation of a factory and business to build the tallest volumetric modular building in the world.
Prior to working at Forest City Roger was an owner and operator of Fiber Media, a high-tech Developer/Contractor in the High-Tech Sector based in the Mid-West. Roger’s experience makes him uniquely qualified to lead a groundbreaking industry change like the movement to off-site built construction for large scale urban multifamily construction. As a Recipient of the Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award 2014 for his work on the creation of a high-rise modular process he has been publicly recognized as a leader in innovation. Roger received his degree in management and organizational psychology from Babson College.
