by ALEXIS CHASTAIN, Multimedia Reporter  |  July 25, 2016

Asia’s first AEC Hackathon finished up Sunday, July 24 in Singapore. Teams of tech enthusiasts hacked away for 48 hours to develop solutions for the industry. Team Dream Catcher won Best Overall Project as well as Best Project Tango Project. Their solution “[reinvented] issue management on-site” using Project Tango and Flux.

Seeing what came out of Singapore’s hackathon ramps us up for AEC Hackathon 3.5, which kicks off Aug. 5 at BuiltWorlds’s headquarters. Once again, we’ll get to host the weekend-long competition and witness innovators collaborating to improve the industry with cutting-edge technologies.
