Bigger. Broader. Bluer. It's not just a motto for Chicago-based Divvy; it's also the goal.

With the urban bike-sharing pioneer's recent announcement, Divvy for Everyone (D4E), its ambitious plan for expansion will be even more irresistible to the masses. The new, drastically discounted annual membership fee of just $5 (for individuals making less than $35,310), knocks a full $70 off the standard price!

As Divvy rolls out new infrastructure to prepare for the expected swell in usage, its routes now cover nearly 87 sq mi. in 33 Chicago districts. To date, it has 4,760 bikes already in service.

In anticipation of our upcoming SmartWorlds: Future Mobility event on Thursday, July 23, Divvy GM Elliot Greenberger sat down with BuiltWorlds' marketing director, Ian Manger*, for a recent BW Session. Watch the interview below, check out our stellar Future Mobility lineup (and agenda), and then purchase your tickets while seats are still available!

Ian also will be speaking Wednesday, July 15, on a Glappitnova panel at WeWork River North at 7:30 pm. The subject: "How To Build A Better Chicago for Startups".
