WATCH: The World's Largest BIM CAVE

Once we caught a glimpse, we had to see more...

During our Demo Night South road trip to Texas A&M University earlier this fall, BuiltWorlds jumped at the chance to explore the world’s largest BIM CAVE in action. In the Construction Science building, we were met by Dr. Julian Kang, Associate Professor in the College of Architecture, and maestro of the monstrous unit. Dr. Kang took the big dog out for a long brisk walk just for us. Yet when it was finished, his guests were the ones left salivating.

In order to reach a deeper understanding of the wide uses and even greater potential for BIM, we dived into the giant BIM CAVE for the benefit of all of you who couldn’t be there. Our overriding goal is to help educate as many people as we can to push the industry forward. With that in mind, BuiltWorlds here is now unveiling our new “BW Encyclopedia” video series, which will take you to the front lines of industry innovation, to bring you the latest and greatest from wherever disruption is happening, whether it’s across the street, or around the globe.
