Last month, FieldLens CEO Doug Chambers flew in from the Big Apple to lead an intimate BuiltWords breakfast workshop on “How to Ensure you Get Jobs Done On Time, All the Time.”

Afterwards, we had the opportunity to go one-on-one with the head honcho from the NYC-based project management facilitator that makes a communications app it says is the “most important tool on the jobsite”. Our revealing chat covered wide territory from why you should absolutely never test a new wet system in an office building on a Friday afternoon to exactly when robots will take over all of our jobs, and all points in between.  Click below to listen.

Before starting FieldLens in 2011, Chambers spent over a decade in the field as a project manager, so he comes by his construction expertise honestly, having run jobs in NYC both big and small. Speaking to him last month, it was readily apparent why he feels so strongly about the value of his company's real-time activity and communication management tools. As he says, the overall goal is help teams every day to get the job done, on time, all the time.
