Hammer Time: Viewpoint 4-peats as top tech firm @ London IT awards

LONDON, NOVEMBER 25, 2014 -- Affectionately known as "The Hammers" and now in its ninth year, Construction Computing magazine's annual Construction Computing Awards gala once again brought together luminaries from around the global IT community for a black-tie celebration of cutting-edge achievements in the built environment. The festive program honored technology tools and solutions for the effective design, construction, maintenance and/or modification of commercial buildings, residential structures and civil engineering projects of all sizes.

For the fourth year in a row, CC editors named Portland OR-based Viewpoint Construction Software as Company of the Year, based in no small part on the successful debut of its new 4Projects secure platform, which also claimed the prize for Collaboration Product of the Year. “We appreciate this recognition... and are equally proud that our products are making a big difference in how the construction market brings projects to fruition,” said Rob Humphreys, Viewpoint VP of product management. The firm is consistently looking “to improve software technology for the betterment of our customers, and the construction industry at large,” he added.
